Planned Site Maintenance from 12:00 to 10:00 AM PST on 6/1/2017

PG&E LED QPL will be unavailable for planned maintenance from 12:00 to 10:00 AM PST on 6/1/2017

Attention!
UPDATE: April 3, 2017

The listing of all DLC products on this QPL site has been frozen as of March 30, 2017 and will remain frozen through May 31, 2017.

What is happening?

The DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) has updated its Technical Requirements for LED lighting products on their Qualified Products List (QPL). Products not meeting the new Technical Requirements Version 4.0 or higher (TR V4.0+) have been de-listed and removed from the active DLC LED QPL on April 1, 2017.

To better serve its customers during this transition, PG&E has frozen its LED QPL on March 30, 2017. New DLC product updates will occur to this list on June 1, 2017.

How to Identify Qualifying Products during Freeze

  1. For Products that do not meet DLC Technical Requirements V4.0+:
    • Submit rebate/incentive applications by May 31, 2017.
    • Check to make sure your product appears on the (frozen) PG&E LED QPL.
  2. For Products that meet DLC Technical Requirements V4.0+:
    • Submit rebate/incentive applications any time before or after May 31, 2017.
    • All DLC qualifying products that meet DLC TR V4.0+ as of March 30, 2017 will continue to appear on the frozen PG&E LED QPL and the DLC LED QPL after April 1, 2017.
    • From March 30 to May 31, 2017 when the PG&E LED QPL is frozen, new DLC listings will not be updated to the PG&E LED QPL.
    • Check that any new DLC TR V4.0+ qualified product appearing on the DLC LED QPL also qualifies for a PG&E rebate or incentive:
      • To qualify for a PG&E rebate or incentive:
        • For deemed rebates, see the Lighting Rebate Catalog. Product categories not listed in the Lighting Rebate Catalog and not in the Exclusion list below, may qualify for a custom incentive.
        • The following product categories are excluded from rebates or incentives by PG&E:
          • Mogul-base screw-in Lamps
          • 4-pin base LED replacement Lamps
          • Linear Replacement Lamps (UL Type B, or any hybrid type)

Reminder of Application Deadlines:

DEEMED Programs:
  • May 31, 2017: To qualify for a rebate, products that do NOT meet DLC TR V4.0+ must be purchased AND applications for fully installed and operational projects must be received.
  • All other program rules apply
CUSTOM Programs:
  • For existing Custom projects: If the project approval has already been issued, the customer should remain eligible as long as project is completed by the installation deadline (whether that is the default deadline or the deadline set in the Exceptions process).
  • For new Custom projects: Project with products that do NOT meet DLC TR V4.0+ must be submitted for review (“Engineer Review Complete” field filled out in Energy Insight) by May 31, 2017).
  • All other program rules apply

PG&E encourages customers to start purchasing and installing products that meet DLC TR V4.0+ immediately.

To check if your product qualifies for DLC TR V4.0+ the version number can be found in the product details at www.designlights.org/qpl.

Program Qualification Rules and Additional Guidelines

All fixtures or lamps included on this qualified product list are ENERGY STAR®-qualified, DesignLights Consortium (DLC) approved, or Utility approved. The list is updated on a daily basis to reflect a real-time view of LED products qualifying for energy efficiency incentives.

Products listed on this site qualify within at least one of several Utility rebate programs, including customized programs (apply before purchase), deemed programs (apply after purchase & installation), and distributor programs (rebate at point-of-sale through qualified distributor). Please refer to Utility program guidelines or ask a Utility representative for assistance in matching your QPL-listed product with the appropriate rebate program.

In any case where an LED product does not appear on the list, it does not qualify for energy efficiency incentives offered by Pacific Gas & Electric Company.

Tips for search:
  1. When entering information in the search bar, type either model number or brand/manufacturer. Do not enter both.
  2. The search functionality is sensitive to hyphens and other special characters. If your model number contains a hyphen, make sure to enter the hyphen within your search
  3. If you are having trouble finding your product on the list, try shortening your entry in the search bar to include only the first few characters of the model number or brand (e.g. enter “ZR22” instead of “ZR22-32L-40K-10V”).
